Project Description There has been quite a number of publications on social women schools and their founders, who can also be considered pathfinders of modern social work. About the founders of  the universities of applied sciences for social work and social pedagogy in the 1970ies, however, we do not know a lot. Their leading principals and values are not a big topic within the study of social work. Especially the parochial universities of applied sciences are of relevance, since they have a long educational tradition. Therefore, in a  preliminary survey this project wants to let us hear the words of the founders of these universities of applied sciences.

Survey method is the biographical narrative one-to-one interview. Irrespective of later academic analyses, the survey wants to accumulate and secure footage.
